Dr Sewak combines extensive experience with a genuine commitment to patient welfare. He joined PASO (Peninsula and Southeast Oncology) in 2009 as a consultant Medical Oncologist, and he also consults at Noble Park, Berwick (St John of God Hospital) and Peninsula Health.

He has a broad range of experience in all tumour types and his research interests include genitourinary malignancy and lung and breast cancers. Dr Sewak has also been a Lead Investigator in a number of trials involving prostate, renal, and bladder cancers at both PASO and Peninsula Health.

Sanjeev Sewak is an active member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, Victorian Clinical Oncology Group, Australian and New Zealand Urological Prostate Group, Australian and New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

After graduating from Melbourne University in 1989 with an MBBS and training in Internal Medicine and later Medical Oncology, he received his Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

He spent two years in New York, USA dedicating his time to post-graduate research and training in oncology at New York University Medical Centre in Manhattan.

He consults both public and private patients.
