It is important to realise that there are over 200 different chemotherapy drugs. While most are given intravenously (through your veins), some are given subcutaneously (under your skin), and others are given orally.

One should not fear chemo, but you certainly need to know which side effects are common, and which are rare but serious, and how to deal with them.
